HomePlates Worldwide is owned by an American lady based in the USA. She sells covers that fit over domestic light switches without any need to touch the existing wiring so that the light switches are transformed from purely functional objects into something that adds to the décor of a room – particularly when the designs match those of Laura Ashley. She heard about us through a mutual business acquaintance, gave us a call and liked our responses. On essentially that basis, she placed her UK business in our hands.
All of this has helped her successfully market her products in the UK through her website and such outlets as Laura Ashley - just as we can do for you. You set up the website and supply us with your goods, then sit back and let us do the rest!

This client originally came to us with a handful of different products, including the internationally despatched Dunk Mug. Having transferred to us the daily chore of despatching the orders, they have grown to offering a range of over 350 home accessories, modern furniture and unique gifts.
Amongst other refreshingly unusual products, the 'Dunk Mug' is a superbly practical accoutrement for the biscuit-dunking aficionado, hand-made in Stoke-on-Trent. And proof that this has been carefully thought out; the mug comes in both a left-handed and a right-handed version in a range of designs, with the iconic shelf below to store your favourite biccy.

We have never met this client, even though they are based in the UK not a million miles away. By comparison, we have met many of our overseas clients! TrooHealthCare came to us with a product range that covered three shelves. Now they occupy around 40 shelves with hundreds of product lines.
TrooHealthCare provides the best natural and herbal remedies on the market to give their customers the best chance of a long and fulfilled life. Every aspect of lifestyle is covered from dietary supplements, weight reduction, skin care, pain relief, detox and mental health – even pet care!
They are yet another example of a client who started in a modest fashion and has built up a successful and expanding business on the backbone of our solid and dependable service.
This client had the idea that an alarm clock that might be described as “cheap and cheerful”, produced in garish colours and shaped like a mosque would make an excellent kitsch present. This particular delightful objet d'art emits a piercing version of the muezzin calling the faithful to prayer when the alarm goes off! Quite … lovely! The client also conceived a concept that went totally against the grain of our philosophy and resulted in extensive in-house re-training of our packing team – a “badly wrapped” service! If the customer required it, the order could be badly wrapped to add to the kitsch nature of the product! We use old newspaper or tasteless wrapping paper and brown packaging tape to imperfectly cover the present. Dreadful! The product is intended as a joke and to date we have received no complaints from anyone over the nature of the product – but we have received lots of orders.

In essence our main resource is providing lots of pairs of hands to be used for any purpose that is commercially viable. To this end we provide a light, clean, simple assembly service to our clients – be it pre-assembly of products, contract packing work or activities such as assembly of mailshots. For many years we have performed the simple task of inserting a sachet of flower or vegetable seeds into the seed packets seen in garden centres. Clearly this is a small and humble task, but someone has to do it
and have you ever wondered how a sachet of seeds did find its way into a packet? We have achieved two million such packets a month on a regular basis over the years, simply using an army of local outworkers.
This operation is simple logistics and has been honed to the point it is background activity rather than a major facet of the business, despite the large numbers involved. We have also handled the assembly of growing kits for sale in Boots & BHS, packing a range of seed packets sold in Tesco's,
packaging of lady's hosiery for sale in House of Frazer & T K Maxx, attachment of vouchers to Bachelors' Cup-a-Soup sachets and a host of other operations that cannot economically be achieved by machinery.
If you have a need to assemble a component, create a collection of parts, collate a mailshot and post it, receive the responses to such a mailing, either by post or telephone, post three ducks to Aylesbury, or coals to Newcastle, speak to us!
